Our platters create a wowing centrepiece to any function, a perfect addition to a cocktail style party or as an entrée for guests to graze on before a spit roast or bbq meal. Picture an attractive big hardwood timber board set out with a wowing array of cured meats, marinated vegetables, seafoods, breads, dips, pickles, cheeses, terrines and more. Or a giant paella pan lined with ice and filled with beautiful fresh seafood… watch your guests flock! Lovely for any occasion, they look great and are sure to impress. We size our platters according to the number of guests being catered for. Bamboo side plates, forks and napkins are provided.
The Antipasto plank
The antipasto plank typically consists of prosciutto, pancetta, salamis, chorizo, grilled sausage, smoked salmon, marinated and grilled octopus, salted fish brandade, three types of homemade dips, grissini, lavosh, crackers, beautiful sourdough, an aged cheddar, a soft brie, warm marinated olives, chargrilled/marinated slow cooked and pickled vegetables of all kinds, crudités, goats curd, charcuterie items such as pates, terrines and lots of other tasty things.
The Giant Seafood platter
The giant seafood platter includes the freshest king prawns with marie rose (fancy term for that yum seafood sauce), big, fat, fresh shucked oysters with a shallot and chive vinaigrette, beautifully steamed mussels and heaps of fresh lemon wedges.
